Pottery, throwing and turning.-An adjustable tool-carrier comprises a block s slidably disposed within a guide-plate a adjustably secured at v at an angle to the jolly arm X, which block is pressed away from the work by springs e and is brought into operative position by a handle g hinged to the arm X and connected to the block by a cable /, rod, &c.
