Pivoted - leaf files; sheets.-Relates to looseleaf books m which flexible cards are attached in series on metal or other leaves, the cards being provided at each end of one side with a laterally - projecting pin adapted to engage with one of a pair of sockets on the face of the leaf so that the free end of each card projects slightly beyond the one above it. The sockets are formed by attaching two strips F, Fig. 2, of corrugated metal to a sheet C of metal or other stiff material, one strip near and parallel to each long edge. The pins consist of a strip of metal B, Fig. 4, attached to each top corner of a card to engage with the sockets E formed between the sheet C and the top of the corrugations in the strips F, the card being bent for insertion or removal. In a modification, the sockets are formed by slots in a strip of metal bent at right-angles so that the slots extend across the bend into each portion of the strip.
