Plates, dishes, and the like, washing.-Apparatus for cleaning plates, dishes, &c. comprises a brush z secured to the end of a tube w provided with a jet q and passing through a container a for soap, soda, disinfectant, &c., means being provided for supplying the brush with water through the jet q, and with cleansing fluid from the container a. The upper end of the container is provided with a handle d and boss c having a hole e drilled therethrough, into the upper end of which is fitted a tube g drilled at h and threaded to receive a thumb screw o. A hollow coupling m is pivotally mounted on the tube g and is held in place by the thumb screw. The coupling m is connected by flexible tubing to a coupling for attachment to a water tap. Water passes from the tap through the tubing, coupling m, and drill hole e into the jet g. Some of the water passes through a controlled passage s into the container a and thereafter through perforations y into the tube w.
