190,270. Wisniewski, J. S., Tarasiewicz, A., and Opalinski, J. Sept. 27, 1921. Mechanically operated from vehicle; spring control.-Points are operated by a rod 37 connected to a shaft 23 secured below the sleepers 12 and carrying arms linked by rods 34 to longitudinal shafts 27; these shafts are coupled by rods 29 to bars 30, 30' hinged at one end to brackets 31 and carried at the other end on springs 32, the bars being depressed by rollers carried on the locomotive. The points are retained in their set position by a projection 45, Fig. 5, on a flat spring 44. To enable the points to be set when trailed through, the bars 30, 301 are connected by levers 53 and rods 54, 541 to similar bars 52, 50 beyond the points.
