摘要
199,846. Harwood, J. April 6, 1922. Purses; wallets.-Treasury notes &c. are held between a main part or side of a case and a flap secured to the main part at one end and passing through, or having a tab &c. passing through, a slot or slots in the main part at the opposite end or under a bridge-piece situated at that end, so that when the case is folded the flap assumes the folded position without puckering or bulging. The construction shown in Fig. 2 exemplifies the invention, of which several forms are described. Here a flap 2 secured to the case at the end 3 has at the free end a tab 4 passing through a slot 7 in the main part, the tab carrying a fastening 6 adapted to co-operate with a part on the back of the case to maintain the latter closed when folded. Pockets may as shown overlie, or may underlie the sliding flap, and the arrangement may be combined with a purse.
