Watches, securing to wrist.-One end 2, Fig. 7, of a wristlet strap is detachably secured to one of the loops 7 of a watch by passing a loop formed on the end 2 partly through the loop 7 and engaging it at the sides by hook projections 5, 6, Fig 8, on a slide device 4 running in the looped end. Other forms of the slide are illustrated in Figs. 2 and 4. When the wristlet is pulled tight for fastening, the slide 4 runs up to the loop 7 of the watch and the main fastening 9 is engaged with the wristlet or with a counterpart fastener on a fixed or slide device on the wristlet. The main fastening 9 may be detachably secured to the wristlet in a similar manner so that wristlets of various colours may be worn with the watch.
