Lawn-tennis and like markers.-Relates to a device for marking out tennis courts &c. of the kind in which a receptacle for marking fluid is supported on a wheeled framework and communicates with a distributor through a pipe and tap, and consists in that the fluid is conveyed to the distributor by gravity and issues therefrom in a series of jets. As shown, the marking liquid is contained in a spherical receptacle 8, Fig. 1, supported on a wheeled structure 1. The liquid flows from the receptacle through a tap and pipe 26 to a distributor 7 from which it issues in a series of jets 47. The pipe 26 is formed in part of rubber or other flexible material 29, Fig. 3, which may be compressed to stop the flow of the liquid. The compressing-device comprises a bridle 32, carried by a lever 35 pivoted at 36 and is operated by raising a lever 41 pivoted to one of the two handles 1a of the machine. The receptacle is fitted with a filling-funnel 19, strainer 20, and stirrer 22.
