Overhead lamps. - In an overhead lamp as described in the parent Specification. with or without the modifications described in Specification 227,462, coloured light is obtained by interposing colour filters f above the source of light d or between the reflecting-surfaces a,a, b,b. The colour filters, which may be in the form of complete discs or of segments, may be rotated in the same or opposite directions by means of an external motor or automatically by the hot air or gases of combustion ascending from the source of light. Alternatively, parts of the source of light may be associated with colour filters, or the reflecting-surfaces may be coloured.
