Recording by co-ordinates.-Relates to a liquidlevel pressure gauge in which two pressures are introduced by pipes 76, 77 to chambers 72 immersed in liquid in a tank 61. Two adjustable overflows 64, 65 and a fixed overflow 63 are provided. The overflows 64, 65 are set by cams 70 which are positioned by water wheels 68, 75 partly immersed in liquid in a tank 60. Each water wheel has two sets of buckets 84, one set receiving water by a pipe 66 or 67 from the fixed overflow 63, and the other set receiving water from the overflow 64 or 65. On the pressure difference changing the overflows 64, 65 are automatically adjusted to re-establish balance. A cord taken round a disc on the water-wheel 68 adjusts a lever 78a and a cord 81 taken round a disc 79 on the wheel 75 adjusts a roller 80 on the lever. A pen 82 carried by the wheel 80 marks a clock-driven record strip 83.
