Water-waste preventers, disinfecting-apparatus for.-A disinfectant container C is connected by a pipe B in which a tap B1 is interposed with a valve casing A detachably supported within the cistern by a bracket F, the level of the casing being adjusted by a screw F3 passing through a slot. A float D adjustable on the spindle A3 of a valve A2 controls the flow of disinfectant through a delivery pipe A5. A second delivery pipe B may be attached at the other end of the container C to supply another cistern.
