Closet basins and pans.-A closet basin is provided with a preferably vertical socket c for receiving the flush pipe c', part of the water passing through a slot f and over the seat support h and the back of the rim a, the remainder passing through a bend l and sloping duct m. The duct is provided with a weir n and branches p to cause two streams to pass inside the rim to the front of the basin, where they encounter a partition and are discharged through a slot k. A bend v is connected to a socket d' by a bayonet-point arrangement, the joint being subsequently filled with cement. A detachable or other extension m may be provided for securing in an impervious floor at q2.
