Ink-ribbon mechanism.-In a coin - controlled weighing apparatus which delivers printed tickets, the ink-ribbon is carried by spools on shafts 130, 131 having ratchet wheels 132, 133. A vertical bar 143 is reciprocated by a lever of the weighing- mechanism and through a laterally swinging member 144 provided with a tooth 146 rotates one of the ratchet wheels according to which side the member 144 is swung. The member 144 is yieldingly held in either position by a spring-pressed pointed pin 149 engaging it. It is swung from one side to the other when the ribbon is drawn completely off one spool by a button on the ribbon engaging and rocking a lever to move the pointed pin 149. The ribbon spools are held in place by fingers 158, 160 connected by a bar 162 and operable by a fingerpiece 163.
