260,776. Wood, W. R. Nov. 5, 1925. Density separators.-A cyclone separator or drier has two coaxial cones a, b between which is fixed a helical partition c making one complete turn round the axis. The fluid enters tangentially through the pipe f and leaves. by the outlet pipe d which rises, as shown, from the inner cone b and is of Venturi form to increase the pitch of the helical movement of the fluid. The pipe d may be provided with guide plates or ribs.
