Cleaning, fluid-pressure processes for. - A horizontal blower C is mounted on the floor I, Fig. 3, of the flame bed or on the floor of a side flue as in Fig. 1, and is connected by a vertical steam pipe F with a second blower G arranged adjacent to the steel plates of the boiler. The blower C may be supported by feet D cast thereon. A series of these blowers is used and sweeps the soot &c. in the direction of the draught.
