Harmony charts, modulators, &c.-In an appliance for teaching music, in which reversible cards or tablets marked on both faces with staff lines, notes, clefs &c, are used, spacing fingers serving as bar or grouping lines are movable along the staff lines on a longitudinal bar mounted above them. The cards 1 - - 6 which can be interchanged, reversed, inverted or overlapped, rest in a groove 8, and the fingers 12 slide on the flat bar 11. The bar 11 may be lifted and rotated to facilitate removal of the cards, by a handle 18 on one end, the other end being raised by means of bifurcated arms 15 on a rock-shaft 13, and the ends of the bar 11 being guided in vertical slots 17 in fixed brackets 9.
