Ironwork, constructional. - Metal troughing for bridges, piers, warehouses, roofs, subways, and tunnels, consists of sections having vertical webs h and horizontal tables g, each section being provided with an angle-iron d so that adjacent sections may be connected from one side by rivets, bolts, or welding. The sections may comprise more than one corrugation, and may be built up of angled plates to the form shown in Fig. 2; or they may consist of pairs of plates i, k, Fig. 3, the former having vertical end webs and the latter end horizontal flanges.
