Jigging conveyers.-Adjustable standards forming supports for a jigging conveyer in a, mine gallery are formed with inner and outer tubes a, b pierced at c, d to receive a cross bolt c for locking them in any extended position. The ends of the tubes are fitted with caps f and g. and a screwed rod h is adjustable in the cap g. The end members h and f are formed with teeth to grip the roof and floor of the gallery. A grooved collar k is adjustable on a thread on the tube b. Chains for supporting the conveyer trough are looped round these collars as shown.
