[Class 20 (ii).] End caps for metal shores or cambered bars in mines are formed of corrugated sheets of metal with portion 15 of the lower corrugations removed to form apertures to receive the webs of the supporting members, the flanges 16 of which are retained in the outer corrugations and form stops to prevent lateral movement of the caps. The ends 14 of the caps are turned to lie parallel to the plane of the cap. The caps may be secured to the ends of the supporting members 2 by swaging over their ends beyond the limits of the apertures as shown at 17, Fig. 2.
