Round holes, enlarging and trueing.-A device for grinding internally two or more cylinders 19 in axial alignment consists of a connector 1 carrying at its ends tubular members 3, 4 each of which is slotted radially to receive holders 5 for grinding-stones or abrasive devices 13. The holders have inclined faces 12 at their ends held by springs 14 in engagement with cones 7, 9, the cones 7 being slidably keyed in the members 3, 4 and engaged by the screwed ends of shafts 6 carrying the cones 9. The member 3 is provided with an end 17 having a bayonet notch 18 therein for engagement with driving means and the cone 9 within the member 3 has a slotted end 11 for engagement with a screwdriver for adjustment of the cones to move the stones 13 radially, and the stones within the member 4 are adjustable similarly by a knob 10 on the shaft 6. The device is rotated and reciprocated axially during grinding; more than two grinding-units may be mounted on the connector to operate simultaneously on more than two cylinders.
