[Class 52 (ii).] A tip-up seat for attachment to a step 1 comprises in combination two substantially R-shaped metal frames 5, pivot bolts 4 project ing from each side thereof to support the seal proper 2, 3, integral abutments 12 for the parts 3, arm rests 9, a back rest 16 pivoted at 18 to the frames 5, a rear weight 14 on the seat and a buffer 15 to engage one of the abutments 12 when the seat is out of use.
