[Class 146 (ii).] Means for recording solutions of crossword and other puzzles consist of a case or envelope pierced on one or both sides with rectangular apertures through which the solution can be written on a card slipped into the case. The case shown is made by folding a rectangular blank along the centre and stapling the side edges together. The apertures g represent the squares of a crossword puzzle and, if both sides of the case are pierced, both sides of the card f may be used. The different solutions are indicated bv the words " Coupon A " &c., marked on the case. The semicircular recess h in the case permits of the withdrawal of the card. In a modified arrangement, suitable for recording the solution of picture puzzles, different rows of apertures are used for different solutions ; identifying captions are printed beside the rows of apertures, and sufficient space is left between for the inscription of identifying letters.
