[Class 66.] A handling-device for application to the knob or handle of a cooking-dish or like lid or cover is formed with a number of clips a having outwardly splayed extremities and adapted to be sprung thereover to enclose the knob and effect the engagement. The device may be provided with a handle d of wood or other poor heatconducting material.
