[Classes 132 (iii) and 146 (ii)] [See also Group XXXVIII] In a device comprising two sheets of material, such as cardboard, each provided with markings so correlated that on one sheet being rotated in relation to the other, useful information of a comparative or directional nature is available, the sheets are so cut or slotted as to be interlockable together by such slots for independent rotary movement on a pivot point formed by such interlocking. The sheet 1 comprises a circular piece provided with a finger-piece 9, and has a radial slot or cut 2 extending from the centre to the periphery ; radial slots 3, 4, 5 on one side, and three similar slots on the other side of the centre are also provided. The other sheet 10 is of similar shape, but has a radial cut 11 extending downwards from the centre and through the finger-piece 12 thereof, radially printed particulars being provided on one side of the sheet. The two sheets are interlocked by placing the right half of the sheet 1 through the cut 11, the upper part of the sheet 10 passing through the cut 2, and the sheets may then be rotated through an angle of approximately 180‹ upon each other without becoming detached. In operation, a mark 15 on the sheet 10 opposite matter on which information is desired is brought into line with a single mark 16 at the edge of the cut 2 on the sheet 1, as shown at 17, and the required information is visible through the slots 3, 4 and 5. The other set of radial slots may be used on the reverse side of the device in a similar manner. The sheets may be shaped to give the effect of a movable toy, such as a bird.
