442,982. Card games. PARKER, G. M., Gray's Hill Lane, Peterboro, New Hampshire, U.S.A. March 29, 1935, No. 9848. Convention date, May 2, 1934. [Class 132 (ii)] In a pack of cards of the kind comprising a number of differently coloured suits, each suit containing cards numbered in broken or unbroken sequence from one to ten and four cards bearing higher numerals, the pack consists of two or more suits having the same capturing indications and one or more additional cards bearing representations indicating that their effect is to vary the value of the trick in which they are played. As shown, the additional cards 5, 6 bear wording stating that their effect is to double and cancel the value of the trick, respectively. Alternatively, these cards might carry representations of a bull and a bear. The pack is provided with a single card 7 bearing a representation of a tiger and played as a trump. Certain cards bear representations of a bank or other emblem such as a bag of money or a dollar sign. The values marked on these cards count to the player who takes the tricks in which they are included. The capturing power of these cards is indicated by the figure or figures in large type, thus the card marked "$5,000 " could be taken by the card marked " 7."
