[Class 113(i)] In ship-stabilizing apparatus as described in the parent Specification a manually operated adjusting device for varying the output of the drive by adjusting the setting of the control gear is provided. This is achieved by inserting a variable resistance S1 in series with the electromagnet winding of the motor driving the pump 10, or by inserting a variable resistance 53 in series with the winding of the electromagnet which operates the valve 36 by which determines the output.
