Improvements in or relating to methods of producing concrete articles of great strength and high resistivity against chemical influences

Concrete articles are moulded from a composition containing cement and material with more than 80 per cent silicic acid, e.g. quartz, and are hardened by steam under pressure. The material preferably contains 15 per cent or more of pulverized quartz, e.g. passing 4900 mesh per sq. cm. The gauging water may contain 5 per cent or more of waterglass.
