[Class 18] An attachÚ case, suit case, or other carrying case 11, has its lid 13 arranged sc that it may be used independently as the lid of a tray 12 which is normally housec within the suit case &c resting on an inner hinged lid 14 which may be closed by a padlock engaging a loop 19 pivoted so that it may projec upwardly to pass through an aperture 18. finger holes 17 and a pocket 20 fo return railway ticket are also provided. Lid 13 is held on by a strap which passes through two apertures 22 and through an aperture in the base 24 of a removable handle 23. The same strap serves to secure lid 13 to tray 12, handle 23 being then shifted to position 2. A turnbutton may be arranged beneath the hinge of the inner lid 14 to keep it in raised position. More than one strap may be used and these may serve as the means for attaching the handle.
