[Class 51 (ii)] The suspension element 2 for a. basic or neutral roof brick is embedded in the brick during manufacture, the element being made of nickel-chromium heat-resisting steel wire or rod, which is deformed laterally, as by an L-bend 3 or by corrugations, to resist withdrawal from the brick. When the bricks become worn in use a layer of basic hydraulic refractory material may be placed over the roof.
