[Class 78 (iv)] A storage chamber for dusty and odoriferous materials into which the material is discharged from a known type of vehicle having a closed body with a rear discharge door hinged horizontally and opened mechanically in an upward direction, is provided with a door hinged horizontally to open in an upward direction and so placed that when the vehicle is brought into position before the chamber door, the opening door of the vehicle makes contact with and lifts the door of the chamber, and as the vehicle door closes the chamber door is simultaneously lowered to closed position. The door 4 is hinged at 6, counter balanced by weights or springs, and provided with idler rollers 8 adapted to be engaged by the door 2 of the vehicle 1, when the latter has been backed into discharging position, guided by kerbs or grooves 9 or both. The door 4 curves outward under the vehicle 1 and is provided with a resilient rubber sealing strip which seats against the edge of the chamber. Resilient rubber shields are arranged round the door frame to engage the back of the vehicle. The door is preferably arranged in an extension of the chamber so as not to interfere with the action of grabs or elevators inside the chamber. The vehicle is provided with known power means for opening the door and for pushing out the material and with a known canvas flap 10 over the top of the door.
