502,870. Pivots. HUMPHRIS, F. Sept. 24, 1937, No. 25887. [Class 65 (ii)] A strut c, a pin a, and a plate e of a press are held together by two plates b fixed to the ends of the pin a. Each plate b has a straight flange b2 entering a recess e1 in the plate e and an arcuate flange b1 cooperating with a flange c2 of the strut c. The pin a is also attached to the plate e by studs. The pin a may have a flat or a cradle d placed between it and the plate e, or both, to prevent its rotation. The plates b may be secured to the pin a either by bosses b2 tightly secured in recesses, or bosses on the pin in recesses in the plates. An antifriction liner b2 may be inserted between the flanges b1 and c2.
