[Class 60] The faces 2, 3 of a grinding-worm 1 used for grinding involute gear teeth 12 are subjected to the trueing action of a tool 4 which is guided at an angle to the axis of the worm 1 equal to the pressure angle α. The tool 4 is guided at the desired angle in a slide 5, and is advanced along the face 2 or 3 that is being trued by means of an incline 7 formed on a reciprocating slide 6, also at the angle α. Both faces 2 and 3 may be operated on simultaneously by two tools, each with its own guide.
