[Class 18] A sprinkler for salt &c. or for liquids comprises a base 12 having a delivery tube 13 and a cap 10 with a projection 14 which can close the delivery tube or be spaced from it for delivery by adjusting a screw connection between the base and cap. A resilient washer may be located in the joint. The movement may be restricted by employing a stop in the form of a nut screwed on the upper edge of the base or in the form of a resilient ring one end of which is anchored in the lower end of the cap while the other end, which is outturned, is located in a slot with closed ends in the base.
