[Class 20(iii)] [Also in Group XIV] A rotatable table 6, mounted in a service hatch 3, 4, has a central vertical screen 5 which closes the hatch each time the table is rotated through 180 degrees. The table is braked, by a wedging action with the hatch, when the screen 5 approaches its closing positions, the table being given a slight lift to bring the top of the screen 5 into effective sealing engagement with the top 4 of the hatchway. Stops may be provided to limit the rotation of the table to 180 degrees. A sliding screen which can be dropped behind the screen 5 to prevent rotation of the table may be provided. The table may have hinged portions which fold against the screen and may be provided with one or more electric hotplates or plug sockets. Cupboards 7, 8 may be provided below the table and at the sides of the hatchway. Specification 385,097, [Group XIV], is referred to.
