[Class 80 (iv)] [Also in Groups I and X] An anchor bolt 2 is located in a concrete foundation, wall or floor by positioning around the bolt a hollow, truncated conical, imperforate shuttering 1 which is open at both ends, the smaller end of the shuttering being placed in contact with a plate 3, whereby, after casting the concrete, the bolt can move laterally in the shuttering or the space left when the shuttering is removed so that adjustments may be made before the final grouting-in. The upper end of the bolt is held by a separate template 4. If the shuttering is to be removed, it is allowed to project above the foundation and it is provided with holes around its upper edge to facilitate the application of a withdrawal force. The shuttering may have a smooth outer surface and may be made of any suitable metallic or non-metallic material, examples of which are given. The bolt may be used for anchoring machine beds.
