[Classes 97 (i) and 98 (ii)] To produce pictures for stereoscopic viewing through a line screen a camera is used having an objective of diameter greater than the interpupiliary spacing with a diaphragm having a narrow elongated aperture moving across the objective during exposure, being for instance oscillated by a cam, in synchronism with the movement of a line screen in front of the sensitive surface with its lines parallel to the length of the diaphragm aperture, and, for example, oscillated by another cam on the same shaft as the first. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 describes also the use of a stationary line screen suitably spaced from the sensitive material; of an oscillating mirror instead of a diaphragm in front of the objective; and of lenticular screens for photographing and viewing. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
