Process for producing combustible gases by gasification solid fuels finely divided through its reaction with oxygen and gasifiers means endothermic reaction in suspension in a reaction chamber whose walls are maintained at a temperature such that the fuel ash may be deposited in state solid finely divided characterized in that first and out of the reaction chamber a mixture is prepared as homogeneous as possible fuel to below the ignition temperature of the mixture temperature and this cooling is introduced into the reaction chamber with such a velocity that the reaction exothermic between carbon and oxygen only starts within said chamber in which there is excess gasifier through endothermic reaction.
