[Class 103 (vi)] A bolster 10 is resiliently mounted upon a bogie frame by providing at each end on its lower side oppositely inclined bearing surfaces 9 between which and the corresponding faces of an inverted V-shape block 6 integral with the transom 5 of the bogie solbar are interposed springs 8 which are preferably of the composite rubber type, as described in Specification 616,457. According to the construction of the bogie frame, the transom may be of unitary construction or replaced by oppositely inclined brackets welded to the solbars without any lateral bracing.
