[Class 52 (v)] A protecting structure for clothes line supports comprises a rotatable sleeve 2 to which are attached radial arms 10 carrying the clothes lines 11. Above the arms, rafters 5 are connected between the sleeve and the outer end of the arms 10. The outer ends of the rafters terminate in grooved uprights 6 joined at their lower ends by a rail 7. Sliding in the grooves between adjacent uprights are venetian blinds comprising slats 12 supported by cords 15, 16 passing over pulleys 18a. When the blinds are not required the cords 15, 16 are slackened and the blind is lowered on to the rails 7. The spaces between the rafters are enclosed by louvres 21. Vanes 23 cause the structure to rotate. A door 24 gives access to the chamber.
