A selector switch control mechanism including a selector for apparatus automated telephone in which the switch portion carrying the movable members (carriage brush holder) is coupled to a drive shaft by means of a mechanism characterized clutch that has means for whitening the projecting part of the clutch mechanism while the carriage in a position of contact any of the latter and the clutch mechanism used for this purpose is of the type known in which the movement of the driving part (incoming ) is connected to the driven (outgoing) side using an auxiliary body which is attached to the protruding portion by one or more springs so that when an overload of the protruding portion the driving force moves the body relative to said portion against the spring or the spring displacement disengages a coupling between the auxiliary body and the recessed portion clutching east coplamiento again when the relative displacement between the auxiliary body and the projecting portion is canceled after the means being disengagement of said coupling connecting the auxiliary body under the effect of spring tension.
