Class 20(iii) [Also in Group XXV] In a sliding-swinging door assembly comprising a door 20 carried on arms 11 pivoted at their respective ends to the door and to the frame, and provided at its top edge with a roller 22 adapted to travel in a guide channel 23 in the frame, the channel is provided, opposite the roller in the closed position of the door, with a movable section 28 adapted to release the roller from the channel when abnormal pressure is applied to the closed door. The roller thereupon passes through a channel 37 and opens a panel 43 mounted flush with the wall surrounding the door. A spring incorporated in the pivotal connection of the arms to the frame normally effects the closing movement of the door, but swings the latter open upon the release of the roller.
