PICT:0665003/III/1 Apparatus for equalizing the moisture content of a gas current with that of a comparison gas, e.g. air, before subjecting to technical gas analysis, comprises a vessel W closed to the atmosphere and having a partition T which depends into a liquid having a water content corresponding to the humidity to be imparted. The gas, e.g. carbon dioxide passing to a flue gas tester is admitted into a hollow cylinder GZ with apertures O2 beneath the liquid level, the comparison gas being similarly supplied to a cylinder LZ on the other side of the partition. The gases pass thence into measuring chambers MK2, MK1.
