[Also in Group XV] A harness for wear by a man learning ballroom dancing includes support means whereby his left arm is correctly positioned for holding his partner's right hand and his right arm is positioned for correctly placing around his partner's back. As shown a metal or plastic support channel 11 for strapping at 11a, 11b above and below the left elbow, and a plate 15 for support of the upper part of the right arm, are mounted on slide blocks 12, 13 on a squaresection rod 10 fixed to a frame 16 strapped to the user's back by a canvas, leather, &c waist belt 17 (passing through eyes 16c, 16d) and shoulder straps 18, 19 (passing through eyes 10a., 10e and 10b, 16f); the extension rod 14 of the plate 15 is adjustably secured in the slide block 13 by a set-screw 13b, and stops such as 10d are screwed to the ends of the rod 10. The frame parts may be padded and the edges of parts 11 and 15 lipped or bevelled.
