Class 29 [Also in Group VI] Apparatus for making ice lollipops comprises containers or moulds b depending from a tray a and withdrawable flexible cores c of rubber formed to provide in each container a number of individual mould cavities each corresponding to the shape of the finished confection. The sticks are held by two plates d, e each having apertures d eSP1/SP in register with the mould cavities. Between the two plates is a sliding plate f also formed with apertures and slidable by a handle g to grip the sticks during the freezing operation. After freezing the device is withdrawn from the refrigerant and exposed to the atmosphere or immersed in warm water for thawing. The flexible cores c can then be withdrawn and flexed to remove the frozen shapes.
