Addition to 618,339 Class 6 (2) The appliance for cutting leaves as claimed in the parent Specification is modified by the addition of a skid 1 situated at each end of the cutters so as to project forwardly. As shown, the skid is secured to the machine by means of bolts and a tie 6 and is formed of angle iron. In a modification, the skid is formed of a flat plate with curved ends. The skid may be applied to an appliance as described in Specification 679,228.
