A land-clearing implement comprises a plough 9 mounted upon a tractor 1 so as to be pushed thereby along a line clear of the tracks, 2, 3 or wheels of the vehicle, the plough consisting of a vertical triangular plate 11 having forward and lower edges converging to a point and being provided on one side with a mould board 10 and on the other with a transverse beam 12 for attachment to the tractor, the vertical plate forming the whole surface of the plough on the side adjacent to the unploughed land. The beam 12 is channelsection and has holes 13, 14 for the insertion of pins 15, 16 to attach it to brackets on the hydraulically-lifted implement-frame 4 pivoted on the tractor. The position and shape of the plough are such that the resultant resistance to motion passes through the centre of the tractor.
