A ground-breaking implement of the type comprising a chain of bladed rollers towed over the ground is characterized in that.the different rollers have different numbers of peripheral blades. In the example shown, 10, 8 and 12, blades are respectively carried by the rollers which are coupled together by bifurcated hitches 3 between the roller-frames 1, each hitch engaging a hook 7 at the rear of the preceding frame by means of a coupling pin 8. The foremost hitch is connected by a spring- mounting (Fig. 4, not shown), to a draw-hook 10 attachable to a tractor.
