[Also in Group X] A duct for securing in an opening in a ceiling to distribute heated air from a hot water tank beneath it to a cold water tank above the ceiling to prevent freezing therein, comprises a rectangular or other section body member 10 open at its lower end and having wire-mesh covered outlet openings 14 adjacent its top, and brackets 28 on a frame 24 adjustable on the duct for supporting it in an opening in the ceiling 32. A flange 18 on the duct is embedded in the ceiling plaster. The duct mayinclude a lowpower electric heater for when the hot water system is not in use, and passage of dust is prevented by the mesh of openings 14 and also by a further wire mesh screen 20.
