A metatarsal support comprises a sheet 4 of cushioning material, such as foam latex, carrying a support pad 6 of similar material and provided with a loop 5 for engagement with an intermediate toe. The pad 6 is secured to the sheet 4 by pressure sensitive adhesive so that, if necessary, it can be removed and a thicker or thinner one can be substituted. The undersurface of the sheet may be covered with a fabric backing.
