Class 100(1) A device for facilitating the collation of paper sheets comprises two or more stacks of sheets 5 and a feed belt 8 associated with each stack, each feed belt being supported by a lever 11 which is pivoted above the stack so that the portion of the belt adjacent the free end of the lever 11 rests on the top of the stack by gravity, a common drive means being associated with each feed belt. The stacks 5 are supported on shelves 3, which may be inclined to the horizontal and are held between side guides 6 carrying rubber gripping means 7. The belts 8 run around driven rollers 9 and idler rollers 10 mounted on the free ends of the levers 11. The spindles 12 of the rollers 9 project through one side of the metal casing 4 and are all driven by a chain 14. The chain 14 is connected to a driving motor provided with a foot-switch.
