Class 141 A trouser edge-protector comprises a leather strip c, Fig. 3, attached to a similar strip a of metal formed with prongs b for attaching the protector to the trousers. The prongs may be formed by stamping V- shaped cuts as in Fig. 1 or by the provision of serrated edges as in Fig. 6. The leather and metal strips are secured together 'by an adhesive, clips or eyelets. According to the Provisional Specification the metal strip is scored along its longitudinal centre line to facilitate bending.
